One of the most important things for us to remember right now is that there is no shame in how we feel. Acknowledge yo
ur feelings and remind yourself that tomorrow is a new day. Don't put yourself under more pressure. You're doing amazing, sweetie.

3. A bad moment does not equate a bad day.
We all have bad days. One bad thing happens things begin to feel like they are spiralling out of control. One of the best things you can do in this situation is to step back, analyse what went wrong and identify the lesson you can take from it. 4. Change is a good thing.
At a time when it feels like the world is standing still, change can be a positive thing. Whilst it can be paralysing not being able to visualise the outcome, try to remember that change is inevitable. Consider the ramifications of staying where you are and weigh those up against the place you could be if you were brave enough to take a step forward. It doesn't need to be huge, but embracing change and the unknown is essential for personal growth.

5. Positive affirmations.
Positive affirmations are positive statements that can help you to stop self-sabotage and negative thoughts in their track. By repeating these short statements daily, you start to believe in them and they can help to reframe your mindset and affect positive change in your life. Growing up, our mum used to write positive affirmations on our mirror so we would look at them everyday!

6. Inhale, exhale, repeat.
Did you know that when you take a deep breath in, a message is sent to your brain to calm down and relax! The way you breathe affects your whole body. Next time you're feeling overwhelmed try some breathing exercises to reduce tension and stress in your body. Belly breathing is one of our favourites.

7. Show more kindness.
Showing kindness to others helps us to experience positive changes in our physical and mental well-being by relieving stress and triggering happy hormones such as oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin. But kindness isn't just for others. It's also for ourselves. Just as you would treat others with kindness, show yourself the same grace and empathy.

8. It's okay is growth means slowing down this season.
A lot of us hold ourselves to unrealistic expectations which can be very stressful and demotivating. We are living in a crazy world right now. Allow yourself to slow down, and create small achievable goals to help you feel accomplished instead of a failure.

Remind yourself that experiencing the rain allows us to appreciate the flowers that much more. Learn to appreciate what the rain in our lives can later lead to.

10. Yesterday is heavy, put it down.
As you strive towards achieving your goals, don’t let every obstacle bring you down. Put aside the mistakes and keep a laser focus on the end goal. Set yourself free from the weight of your mistakes and think about the actions you can take to get yourself closer to your goal. Every step you take is a step in the right direction.
