Our trip around London 3.4.21

This Saturday, Safiyyah and I took a quick trip around central London to take some pictures of our posies. Here's a little photo dump of our day trip.

We started in Notting Hill, looking for quiet streets and grabbing a quick coffee from nearby cafe Brown & Rosie. It was here that we realised neither of us had ever watched the romcom classic inspired by this district of London, so we've put it on our movie list!

From there we ventured off to South Kensington which looked as gorgeous as ever, full of cherry blossom trees and flower installations along the high street.

We then headed down towards Westminster and paid a visit to the Big Ben who is still under construction, and the London Eye who made for a cute touristy background for our posies.

We found an empty telephone box by the river and had to take a snap by one of these national icons. Did you know that telephone boxes make 33,000 calls a day, despite one third of them never being used!

Following that, we made our way across the river and back down towards Embankment and Victoria Embankment Gardens full of beautiful blooms.

Here, we also stumbled along an amazing burger joint, Thunderbirds. We both ordered the Chipuffalo burger. Think juicy buffalo wings, covered in blue cheese sauce but in burger format. To die for.

We rounded off our trip with a short walk around Cardinal Place and Victoria Station before heading back home. Check out our mini vlog on TikTok for a look at our full day out!
